1. Entry & Access Controls

•    Restricted access to Temple Main Hall and Relic Hall at 38 Foch Road

        Effective 25 Mar 2020, the Main Hall of the temple and the Relic Hall will be closed to public. 

        Only Sanghas, staff and designated volunteers are allowed to enter.

•   Barricading of Temple Perimeters
  For public safety, TCCL has erected barricades around the temple vicinity to stop congregation of masses near the temple.
  

2. Work Arrangements to ensure continuity of services for devotees

As part of TCCL Operations Continuity Plan (TOCP), we have implemented rotational teams (Sanghas, staff and volunteers) to ensure that the ongoing and scheduled prayer services are not compromised. Our Sanghas and staff will continue with the daily prayers under this new arrangement. 

3. Online Prayers and Teachings

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we invite all devotees and the public to join us online via TCCL FB Live for our Prayer sessions as well as the weekly English and Mandarin teachings. 

4. Register and make offerings online

TCCL strongly encourage all devotees to register and make their offerings online via the TCCL website https://thekchencholing.org/. 

5. Personalized Pujas and Consultations

For devotees who had signed up for the personalized pujas with us, we will conduct the pujas and inform you via WhatsApp or Telegram after the pujas are completed.

6. Precautionary Measures at temple premises

• During this coronavirus outbreak period, we do not advise devotees to visit the temple.

• All devotees are encouraged to access our services online.

• We will be enforcing the following Precautionary Measures for visitors to the temple:
  

1. • Sanitization of their hands

   • Have their temperature taken

   • Fill up the contact tracing form

   • Social Distancing will be in place

     
7. Arrangements for the Qing Ming Festival

Tablets for ancestors and dearly departed

•           Tablets and offerings for devotees who had signed up for this year’s Qing Ming Festival will be put up accordingly. Our Sanghas and staff will manage the offerings and dedicate the prayers for your ancestors and dearly departed respectively. 

•          For the ancestral and dearly departed tablets in the Relic Hall at 38 Foch Road, a dedicated Sangha has been assigned to perform daily prayers recitation for your ancestors and dearly departed during the Qing Ming Festival period.

Gratitude and Remembrance Package

In view of the current COVID-19 Situation, to aid devotees in continuing the Qing Ming Tradition, TCCL has introduced the “Gratitude & Remembrance Package” which consists of 10 essential prayer items and our Sanghas will recite and make this offering on your behalf to your dearly departed one. Devotees may also visit the TCCL website for more Qing Ming Festival offerings: www.thekchencholing.org/QM 

Postponement of the “Bountiful Food Charity to Wandering Spirits”

The original ceremony scheduled on 4th April 2020 will be postpone to a later date.
