Volunteer Management Executive

Main  Responsibilities  : 

  • To follow up on volunteer enquiries and interviews for new volunteers

  • To disseminate information and correspondence to volunteers

  • To organize and administer volunteering events

  • To provide oversight and coordination for volunteer events

  • To be able to coordinate volunteer training programs

  • To manage database

  • To assist in planning and managing of recruitment and engagement programs

  • To plan and provide support in appreciation and recognition events for volunteers

Other Responsibilities:
Undertake any other duties as assigned


 
Job  Requirements :

  • Diploma from reputable polytechnic preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in events/volunteer management

  • Possess strong communication skills (Chinese and English) and interpersonal skills

  • Candidate has to be comfortable working in a Buddhist environment

  • Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel

  • Able to work independently and a good team player

  • May be required to work on weekends and / or after office hours

Devotee Services Executive (Relations)

Main  Responsibilities  :

Devotee/Customer Service

  • Greet devotees/customers warmly and assist them with inquiries, product information, and general assistance.

  • Provide prompt and friendly responses to customer questions, complaints and concerns via front desk or hotline

  • Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers at all times.

  • Support in fulfilment of online offerings and auspicious days offerings

  • Keep front desk area clean and well organized at all times. 

  • Assist in inventory stock check of offering/retail items

Devotee/Customer Engagement

  • Actively promote temple products and services to enhance customer awareness.

  • Provide information about upcoming temple events and activities.

Transaction & Cash Handling

  • Accurately handle cash and other transactions, including receiving payments, giving change, and processing refunds and issuing receipts.

  • Maintain an organized and secure cash register.

  • Reconcile cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.

  • Utilize our ERP system for processing customer transactions.

Job  Requirements :

Minimum 1-2 years of related experience

Minimum A Levels/Diploma in relevant field or equivalent.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Friendly and customer-oriented attitude

  • Familiarity with social media platforms

  • Willingness to attend IT training sessions to stay updated on company software.

  • Ability to converse and write in both English & Chinese (using Hanyu Pinyin)

Devotee Services Executive (Fulfilment)

Main  Responsibilities  :

Backend scheduling and coordination

  • Assist in scheduling of pujas, prayers & activities and coordinate with devotee/customer, sanghas and overseas monasteries.

  • Coordinate resources and logistics 

  • Ensure all fulfilment to be done in a timely manner

Devotee Fulfilment & Customer Service

  • Ensure devotee request (e.g. deity lights, online offerings, pujas, prayers, relic hall, etc) are fulfilled in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with devotees to understand their request and engage them to build trust and relationships. 

  • Support front desk twice a week to provide devotee/customer services.

Administration

  • Assist in raising purchase requisition for department and events assigned. 

  • Handle emails enquiries assigned and respond in a timely manner.

  • Generate reports for analysis and dedication lists for devotee fulfillment requests. 

  • Printing of tablets for events or regular offerings and ensure accuracy. 

  • Regular inventory check on materials for printing, etc.

Other Responsibilities:
Undertake any other duties as assigned such as coverage for front desk, events, audience with Rinpoche, etc.

Program Executive (Fund Raising & Events)

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of others? Join us as Program Executive (Fund Raising & Events) to conceptualise and organise our temple fundraising campaigns and annual events to reach out to our devotees and the community.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate, plan and administer the operations of our temple annual events to promote culture and help raise funds for our temple.

To develop, conceptualise and manage fund raising campaigns with the team.

Assist in managing sponsors and partners for our temple annual events and fund-raising campaigns, including overseas partners.

Manage the community: liaise and support participants, volunteers, sponsors and liaise with external vendors and partners for our events and fund-raising campaigns.

Oversee all arrangements for administrative and logistical set-up pertaining to our temple annual events and fund-raising activities.

To work with our Creative Media team to create content and social media postings of our various temple events and fund-raising activities on our respective social media and website platforms.

To assist with any other administrative work scope pertaining to our temple annual events and fund-raising campaigns, including generating of reports of our events and fund-raising activities.


Job  Requirements :

At least a diploma in Events Management or Business Admin or equivalent, or with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in the related field will be excellent. 

Able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, facilitation and public speaking skills;

Excellent team player, creative, pro-active with positive working attitude;

Good customer service, sincere and have integrity in managing sponsors and donors; 

Good writing skills and computer skills with proficiency in MS Office;

Ability to multi-task and work within time frame with minimal supervision;

Required to be able to work on weekends and in a Buddhist environment.
